Cuero Phd Comments Tate Gebhart

In today's society kids my age often tend to conform to the idea of being popular. Many people in my generation will come up to you and tell you that they are different than most, but yet while talking to them you may notice they wear the same clothes and act the same way. People in my generation want to believe that they are creative and different people ,but in reality most of them are not. The lack of creativity is not from a lack of trying it's just from the simple fact that most of them see what's popular in the world today and are often detered from being different because they are scared. They are scared of what people might think of them. They are scared of what they might say if they talk, walk or dress differently. Even though I feel my generation is largely responsible for a lot of positive change in the world today, I still see a large room for improvement,  even in my own life. As a freshman in college in the year 2018, I believe that I could use Mr. Cuero advice to better myself and hopefully one day help change the world at whatever level I can. Mr.Cuero also talks about the "unknown" in parts of  the video and says that  when you do things in the world today that involves the unknown and present to the majority of  people that just expect the "known"  are shocked and most times scared because it's taboo and different but that's what makes the world change. The question asked to me is,"how could I apply Mr.Cuero's concepts in everyday life?" Well by just daring to mess with the unknown and not to be scared to do more then what's expected of me, weather that be in the field of academics and or athletics area.

Now you may be asking yourself,  "how do kids conforming and dressing the same way in society today have anything to do with our Microbiologist, Raul Cuero Phd from the video? Well let me explain. The ideas Mr. Cuero has on creativity is what makes  a different and creative person. If kids in my generation listened to people like Mr.Cuero more often and used his ideas and concepts in their own lives I strongly believe that world would be more creative and better place. My generation would be more truthful with themselves and others as well as being more creative because all the stress of living up to people's imaginary expectations would go out the window.  Do not get me wrong I firmly believe you can be successful by doing the same thing as everyone else. That does not change the fact that is almost a definite fact that the most successful and influential people in the world today are those that dare to be different and open up there creativity to the world no matter what anyone says to them.  Many kids in my generation would likely tell you that they fall under Mr.Cuero's idea of being the ones who are unpredictable and are the ones flipping the script on what people limit our generation to, when really they are just conforming. They are conforming because it is a lot more comfortable and hell of a lot easier to fit in then deal with the criticism that comes along with being an innovator. I hope kids begin to look up to people like Mr.Cuero because kids in my generation are becoming as predictable as a daily four p.m. rain shower in the city of Tampa and is honestly a bit annoying.
